Right, i can't go out too cause the sun will make it worse and the worst thing of all? It's contagious. damn it. Doctor even went to the extend to explain how contagious it will be- it can spread through talking and saliva touching others. Though, its virus is almost the same as chicken pox, he adds, it is LESS contagious. I mean, wth!

Book review anyone?
Just so you know, i've been busy spending my time wisely. And i have started excersing, well, once when i went with clara to have a swim. I soo need to share this book i'm reading! It's called, Loose Lips by Claire Berlinski. It's about the Central Intelligence Agency(CIA) recuiting members and they call their clients their assests. Just so to let the agents protect them like their assets, i suppose. Right, the thing about this book that attracts me(i know, CIA don't really sound interesting to you.) is that there are alot of bitching about their colleagues(you know how i love bitchings!), and how a love story can develope.
Anyhow, i was rather surprised when i read about the part where the guy appears. Usually novels write about their male lead having like what, muscles plus a stunning look and stuff like that right? This book, well, started off a little ugly. The male lead was, and i quote from the book, a pale,fat man with small eyes and very spiky thick red hair. He made no impression on the female lead. So, i was like nooooo, i wanna hear more about the macho-ness of the dude(girls, that's what you want also k) not some fat guy(sorry but i do sound like i'm contridicting myself here, with me being all f...... and everything.) or some unattractive dude. Anyhow, i continue to read on and i found how the author changed the fat guy into a very attractive guy, by writing him losing 20 pounds and everything. Also, did i mention that he was smart and knew everything? I love the author's work. I must write something like that in the future if i ever get into writing a novel.
Hokay, i know you people are frustrated and impatient abt me not uploading the graduation pictures and everything. I know these stuff. The complaints and everything. urgh. I shouldn't bring my camera to any occasion ever(i swear, not even for the class chalet) cause i can't be bothered to upload the pictures from the camera! Heck, i don't even know why i took them all. This is crap, i shall upload this for the last time(not in this post) and the rest, i shall just take them from the people who brought their camera. I DON'T CARE. I CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO UPLOAD THE PICTURES, I SERIOUSLY DON'T.
Okay, frustrations aside, i created a Random thoughts thing on my personal message of MSN and i'm lovin' it!~ I really really have a lot going on in my mind that i can't wait to tell the others! Right now, it would be Random thoughts: Oh isn't he just the cutest thing? Am talking about Nigel Barker, cause ANTM just ended! haha!

Some problems going on with the W.T.F crew and am going to find a way to resolve it! =) along with tetrina and fiona of course. Fiona's off to chalet now.. hmmm, really looking forward to mine, i think. Though the chalet days will somewhat clash with the choir dates, i will make a 2 trip thing to make it back to school. over and done with
with what? The majors d'oh. keep up with the times will ya. (i'm just gonna start this post scolding you guys first before hearing you say that word. FINALLY)
okok i'm so super happy that there would be no more studying for me(for now) and that all my ten years of books can be burnt!(believe me, all books from the past 10 yrs are still in this room. Well hidden.) I'm gonna make this post a long one cause well, i need too or else i dont know when the hell will i ever make time to blog again. Not that i'm really busy with stuff, just being lazy.
So lets start with the time when the Os were through half-way. I realised something, every paper is easy then tough every consecutive day, for me. Hopefully i can still score well for both the easy and tough papers. I just need a very good cut off point la.
Oh right, the studying. Well it was tough having to focus mainly on books and notes instead of having the computer around to distract me. My studying plan's totally different from almost everyone i think. I start late, at around 10p.m till the next morning and then take the exams and go home to sleep. And then wake up again to do other stuff and then study in the night again and the whole cycle repeats. This plan works well for me and maybe darryl(since he did that throughout the exams with me). So, don't misunderstand when i say i didn't sleep throughout the night. I slept, in the afternoon. Also, don't come and tell me this is bad for my health and everything(ms teo once told me that while looking at my pimples) cause i know i can absorb well during that period of time.
Hokay, some of you might not be intrigue by the story of how i study. So, on to the next thing. With the O lvls gone, i realised it's still not the time to be lazy! Damn. One look at my room and take another look at my mom looking at my room and you should know. Getting the shamonkeys and W.T.F over to help me clean and slightly "renovate" the whole room any time next week, maybe wednesday? They are such darlings! they agreed to help. Uhh thanks guys girls. =) Also, need to go attend the 3 months trial JC thing.(Actually only 1 month lah. But might only be going for like 3 days?) And not forgetting the red camp thing by Ngee Ann Polytechnic(don't think i can attend this cause they bloody forgot to send me the confirmation letter to tell me which grp i will be in. GRRRRR).
So busy busy weeks ahead. Oh ya another thing, gonna start operation exercise vigrously after all of the above said is done. So whenever i need encouragement, give it to me k. Gonna lose like 20kg within 3 mths. And i certainly hope it can be done and not me just bragging. Gonna skip having a part time job and just focus mainly on losing all that fats in me. Hopefully the shamonkeys and W.T.F will be coming over often to swim or jog with me and boost my confident level. Right, forgot to mention the Graduation lunch. It is on this coming thursday. If you're reading this today, it's tomorrow. If you're reading this on thursday, it's today. If you're reading this on friday, it's yesterday. The lunch will be held at York hotel(it was held there 2 yrs back) and everyone's got a pretty dress! We will all look really pretty! Look forward to my post on that important lunch cause there'll be many many content! Like, cute guys(mostly teachers) and pretty ladies! Also, not forgetting the presentation clara and cheryl's gonna put up. It's gonna be fun fun fun. Fun.
After that i'll be ....... .... .. ....... ..... ... ... ...... Secret code, go figure. OH! Also, neeed to entertain my cousin, pebbles amanda to Kbox, or rather, amanda entertaining me to Kbox to celebrate the end of my Os! It's not gonna be only for that one day on my calender list kay. Oh right, claire i can hear you on the background. I like going to Kbox, doesn't matter if it's full of chinese songs. And besides, though i dislike chinese language and detest speaking it, i still like singing chinese pop songs. Not those weird types though. I only like to sing and listen to strong vocalist singing.
Went to school today, yes one day after the Os ended. With cheryl and clara. Helped out with the English department for the open house for the new students to see, though i doubt they'll take notice of the notice board(ironic isn't it?). Manage to see Mr F** and urm cheryl, HE TALKED TO ME. We actually were in a CONVERSATION CHERYL. LOL, just to spite her la. I see him as though i see a big brother, not really someone i like. I like people like.. Mr G***** Right fiona? yaya, i know you're doing the eye thing again. And tet too. Grrrrrrr. His english rules k. Besides, he's charming! Anyone think so? yeah, probably the whole world. shut up claire, faizah, mas, cheryl, fiona, tet. Xm, you don't really care do you? LOL

oh hey, so laziness does pay off. I freaked out during the paper today and i'm so going to flunk it. Despite my efforts in trying to rescue chemisry back to my life, it didn't happen. Something went very wrong today and i started cursing and swearing and kicking myself. I tried forgetting this paper and took a nap. Guess what, i was thinking about the answers during my sleep. I dont know how i did this but i did.
I woke up, devastated that i couldn't do anything to salvage the marks(dont think salvage is used in this situation but who cares) and i became so blur and sleepy that i took my handphone to call my handphone. That's right, i called my handphone, thinking i had a second handphone which i lost it on my bed. One voice told me to call my hp and i did. I stupidly did.
Hopefully this nervousness only happens on the first paper of exams. I cannot afford another nervous breakdown, i can't.

That's right, i'm disgustingly lazy. I just wasted 3 important days of my life! And i spent it all on sleeping and slacking instead of studying. oh wait, that means i'm stupid too cause i can't manage my time well and my willpower sucks. great.
Hate the exams cause it shows me how inefficient i can be, how stupid i am, and how good a complain queen i can get. I'm an all talk no action person.

okok so i got it but..
skarli only get the marks for the answer how? sorry, the starting seems abrupt. Talking about the Practical examination we had for O lvls today. From my sources(fine, my tuition teacher's other students and mr loh and mrs chua.), the answer for the chemistry is, Zinc Carbonate. For the physics, the graph should have been a curve.(this one i heard from my tutor's other students, but i got a straight line. Need to confirm again with mr loh or any of the physics teacher tomorrow.)
Right, so maybe i got the answer right, but what about the observations and conclusion stuff? Oh whatever, it's just a small component of the whole science subject.(But then hor, my sis said her B3 for Science was because of her practical leh. Shit.)
Hmmm, besides blogging about this thing, i have no idea what else to blog about! okok, clara and darryl (and maybe faizah?) made my day today when i went to school. They said i looked slimmer! WOOO. Love that remark even though i know deep down i didn't.
Here's the thing, during the own study break thing, i lost like 1 or 2 kilograms. But then again, last night i checked, i gained back the 2 kgs. Bahhhhhh, i was like 0_0 noooo, noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Of which i sat down(no actually i threw myself on the chair) and started eating snickers.
Hokay, after the practical exams today, we(cheryl, faizah, mas, clara and i) went to Shamonkeys headquarters! Nice place, but poor mas, she got hit on the chin by my knee cap just to get to the place. So, yes it involves some climbing to get to the place. But was happy though, my first shamonkey headquarters experience. But how can i get in there myself if i ever feel unhappy? I'll be too frustrated(of not getting myself in) to think about all the unhappiness. damn.
Well, need to get back to studying and sleeping early cause need to wake up like 7a.m tomorrow for school for that damn english mock paper. Oh right and after that, i'll be having like 2 tuitions tomorrow. I only had one tuition initially, then at around 8p.m just now i got a call from my math tutor, he was like "tomorrow you have to come for tuition." Know what? Sometimes i just hate short and sweet.

I belong to a family of monsters and am proud of it!
And trust me, i know what i'm talking about here. And introducing, i am the sleeping monster.
haha, okay i shall explain. I woke up this morning and went to the living area where my dad, mom, and younger sister were doing their own stuff.(yes, i haven't been to the toliet yet, not even brushed my teeth!)I sat down a bit to rest my aching back(apparently my back was facing upwards the whole night, dammit!)and just as i was about to stand up to go to the toliet, my mom told me something funny.
She said, "you know what baby(referring to huiqin, my younger sis) told me this morning?" And i was just staring at my mom waiting for her to tell me. "She say, daddy is the newspaper monster, mummy is the jogging monster, wenqin jie jie is the sleeping monster and rouqin jie jie is the computer monster." My mom continued with her funny laughter.
That, just made my day lah. To think my younger sis to come up with all those names! And! it's all so true!!!!!! My dad LOVES the newspaper(sometimes i just wonder when will he start having conversations with them all)and my mom dont mind leaving huiqin alone at home so that she can go to the gym for her jogs. My elder sis, one day might just stuck her head in that notebook of hers. As for me, i might just drop dead from sleeping too much!
I then asked huiqin, "then you leh?" (yes, i speak ALOT of singlish at home. I know, i'm bad.) And she was like, "the tv monster!!!"
Yes yes, quite true. She can just watch playhouse disney channel 24/7 if time allows!
Okay, a little fun there i had with the family. Well, i received the choir pictures from ms chung through e-mail and i picked only 4 out of the 7 to post it here cos the rest just made me look uglier than usual
Okay, i seriously need to do some revision(yes, now, at this time yes.)and some homeworks! man, i hate the prelims.
Oh right, i think i might not be able to sleep on sunday night. You know why? cause IT'S THE RELEASE OF THE O LEVELS MOTHER TONGUE LANGUAGE RESULTS ON MONDAY! and i dont know what to do next if i didn't get a B3 grade. I simply dont know.

Happy National Day, SINGAPORE!
42nd? Right, 42nd birthday!! The school had the celebration on wednesday and the sec 5s went to Fort Canning to celebrate. Everyone was allowed to wear red T-shirts and jeans to school and i, naturally decided to wear the traditional one, red top and white bottom.
All of us decided to bring food for the outing and have a small picnic there! Even the teachers. I brought 2 big containers of spicy tuna sandwiches and it was not wiped out within a few seconds but was at the end of the whole picnic.
Before mentioning and posting pictures of the outing, let me just mention about the school ceremony. As usual, the school had the commanding and the sending in of the national flag and this year's well, was quite different. It was stricter, more discipline. Definetely nicer to see. Can't be bothered to take any pictures of everything that happened in school cause it's just the same as past years'. Anyways, we sang "my people my home" like last year and the year before, before setting off. We had some scoldings as well and some threatening too, which was ridiculous.
And we hit the road! Everyone started taking out their pink sheet(contains national day song lyrics) and started singing in the bus!
As you can see, food is bulging out of clara's bag! Yummy food for the picnic!!!

Anyhow, we sang loads of songs just like the year before and before we knew it, we were there! FORT CANNING!(okay, i know i sound like i've never been there before, i have okay!)
We actually found a swing near the area where we sit and the first thing we did was,

The teachers, we had to give food to. HAHA, no lah, not complaining. We gave them food willingly! Hmmmm, wonder who ate my tuna sandwich. Anyways, mrs tan was so impressed by cheryl's handmade muffins and faizah's mom's apo apo, she gave us 3 bottle of soya milk! NICE of her!
Which somehow made cheryl so happy, she wanted to fly and tell everyone!

After which we all went back to school and then shamonkeys went to.. CLARA'S house! We slept at clara's room for 1 hour before cheryl and faizah went back. Then mas, xm and i stayed behind for a little while before going home. It was a fun, tiring and moody day wednesday was.
9th august, my mom had to go to the NDP for the umbrella performance at noon time and we(my dad, and two sisters) went to City hall for lunch and then we went shopping! Ate at Ajisan cause we couldn't make up our minds what to eat for lunch.
Apparently, huiqin was happy cause of her kids meal.
I remember once, when she was younger, she cleaned off the scraps of food on the aeroplane plate and tried to bring it home when we paid the bill! haha, that was a funny sight to see. Her innocence of life, not yet removed from her.
Older sis and i ate noodles and had the same side dishes!
We then carried on to have our desserts!
YUMMY!!! The sweet sugar thing was so nice i think i nearly wanted to lick the small jug!
Then, it was shopping time!!! I bought one dress and one super nice blouse from River Island which also happens to be my current favourite shopping place! Older sis bought a short shorts from there as well. P/s THE CASHIER GUY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE. I so need to make a trip there again!=)I intend to use the dress or the blouse for the Japan tour. Oh right, did i mention we are going to Japan this year for our holiday? no? well, WE ARE! and i'm so super excited(well, not as excited if we were to go to New Zealand though. Will be going there two years later instead.)! CAUSE WE CAN SHOP MORE AND HAVE NICE FLUFFY SNOW!(that's what the agent guy from chan brothers told my mom. "The snow there ah you can see is different because it's more fluffy" and i was like *roll eyes* Isn't all snow the same?)

Hokayy so the debating question is, Are Grandparents the most important in society? Both clara and i agree at this point, they are important but they are not the MOST important. The younger generation is.
SO, clara and i have decided to pair up and do this expositary essay together hand in hand and i(i dont know about clara) have the perfect score we're supposed to get in my head already. This topic is so not HOT and is not your most interesting topic but, you know, for the sake of marks i might do this for O lvls, that is if i have all the information in my head lah.
AH, clara blogged about grandparents are not suppose to have this responsibilty of taking care of their grandchildren because their son/daughter are busy at work. Her point, quite taken in but i think sort of differently.
I was thinking, well what if grandparents don't mind the responsibility and that they want to take care of their grandchildren. And then these grandparents go and read clara's post, they might be alarmed to know that someone actually thinks looking after their own grandchildren is a chore instead of a happiness thing. I mean, look at what the media's showing us, parents chasing their daughters or sons to bear them a grandchild to play with, to pamper them and looking after them like their own kids(once again).
Also in reality, parents usually rush their children to hurry with childbearing cause they just can't wait to pamper them and to take care of their grandchildren. Hence i dont think it is wrong for the minister to try to encourage grandparents to look after their grandchildren. Besides, the article on the man complaining about his parents not looking after his children for him, it might only be that one and only case(okay, not one and only case, a handful?) in Sg.
I'm not sure where i will be getting at if i continue typing (i might just go off point, or have i already?) so i'm just gonna keep to my agenda list.
O lvls mother tongue results coming out soon and i realy really really really hope to get a B3 cause if i dont, my dad is gonna force me to retake the whole examination over again. And i so do not want that to happen.
up next would be the complaining part of mine. Too much(and i know much is wrong, but its because i want to make it seem like theres too many until uncountable) papers to do! Coming from school and from tuitions. I hope all my efforts get paid off when i get my O lvls certificate 6 months from now. And, i have been failing my English comprehension and soon my letter writing. DAMNATION and i'm doing nothing about it. I have also been slacking alot lately. But the good news is, i know how to do chemistry practical and am super glad i manage to get the 'pop' sound during experiments. Haven't manage to get a hold of my physics yet, but am working on it.
